     I was born in January of 1954, in Boston, MA, an only child of first generation Italian-
    Americans. Married in 1976 to my husband Frank, we, along with my parents moved to
    Honolulu, HI, where our kids were born.
    There is nothing better than the Aloha of the Islands
    We now live in scenic Western Massachusetts

     Genevieve (28, in 2007) gave us a beautiful grandson, Salem Jedai in
     December of 2005. (We call him Jedai)
    Joe is a massage therapist and bartender (26, in 2007)
    Valerie is a film editor and bartender (24, in 2007)
    Frank passed away in 2005 at age 59.  He got to see his infant grandson.
    I have three large dogs, Thor, Precious and Happy, and Valerie's two kitties, Elei (E-lay)
    and Baby. My two "grandpuppies" are Chihuahuas, Dax and TJ.  It's quite a busy household

My writing
    Since age 16, I knew I wanted to be a writer, but didn't pursue it as a career until now (better
    late than never!).  I love to write for children because they are like sponges and absorb
    everything  so easily. I have a series of books for pre-school and early readers that are
     not quite finished yet. Stay tuned!

Ele is very special.  He was found in a
dumpster in freezing January. Ele means
"Black" in Hawaiian.  Read his story here
ELEI
THOR is an 8 yr old Rottweiler   (weighs 125 pounds)
PRECIOUS is 10 and is half Rottweiler and half Chow-Chow (weighs 85 pounds)
HAPPY is a "pound pup".  She's 12 and is part Shepherd, Collie, Rotweiller and mini Doberman
(weighs 75 pounds)
TJ is an "Applehead" Chihuahua & Dax is a "Deer" Chihuahua.  They weigh only 7 pounds each.
TJ has a teeny, tiny liver and has to eat special food. (That's how Puppy Love Cookies came about!

affectionate.  He's a Siberian cat &
was adopted cause he had no place
to live when his owner moved. He's
2 and still growing!
